[Blindmath] NVDA and Jaws conflict for use with math type and laTEX

Neil,

Do you have to first trigger an "insert equation" option before entering an
equation, or can you just start off by entering
$...$ and entering the LaTeX between the $ signs?

If I understand your question, type the TeX (actually TeXvc, but it's the
common TeX math commands) between either $...$ for inline math or \[...\]
for display math (i.e, math on a line by itself). I wouldn't worry too much
about choosing one or the other as the differences are subtle: inline math
is squashed vertically a bit compared to display equations.
