Hi,
Sarah has given you the link to the base page for all my work.
Look for the "Let's Use R Now" pages, notably the blind edition of them, and Chapter 2 in particular which details all the first things anyone needs to know.
https://R-Resources.massey.ac.nz/LURNBlind/
There are a host of other pages there, not all of which are sign-posted, that may help you and your lecturing staff.
There are enough blind users of R to warrant having our own list hosted by the NFB. Look for BlindRUG.
You will find links to help subscribe at https://R-Resources.massey.ac.nz/BrailleR
Which is the page that starts to show people the add-on package I have been developing for over five years now.
An e-book is in preparation to support use of the BrailleR package. It is not yet fit for public consumption but I'm working on it.
I'm very keen that people work with their lecturing staff to find solutions, especially ideas that substitute for graphics. Having said that, the BrailleR package includes some ideas to help people create the graphs needed for the sighted world in which we must live and work.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Hello all.
I am new on the list, so I am sorry if this was already asked here.
I am currently taking a statistics class at college.
My professor just started using R for very basic stuff.
I wonder if the normal version of R is accessible, or if I need to download some special version.
Also I am using mac OS, is R also accessible on macOS or windows is preferred?
Thank you so much.
Best regards.
Lucas.
