Good day all,

Today I spoke with Dave Wilkinson at American Printing House for the
Blind about prospects for getting the Graphiti display into production
with respect to Ken Perry's reply to me given below. Dave is head of
sales.  They are looking for an investor to put up the capital, around
$6 million to automate production.  Dave also says a show of interest by
potential customers would be useful, so I'm asking all of you who would
like to buy a display to write to him at davewilkinson at aph.org.  You
might also indicate what you'd be willing to pay.

Regards,

Doug Miron

To tell the truth we could conclude field testing at anytime. APH is
working on getting funding to back production. We are ready to produce
but production costs are high. WE have ordered what we are calling 10
early adopter units which will cost $15,000 a piece. They are hand made
first run units. The more we buy the lower the price but APH needs to
decide how much that number will be before I can tell you how much the
price will be. I can tell you now that it will be lower than 15k and
probably higher than 3k. If your interested in one of the first run I
can get you InTouch with sales but for now that is the best I can tell
you. We continue improving the device and will find a way to sell it but
we are not there yet. If you want to help with the process feel free to
give a call to our sales department and ask what is going on. The more
people that call and ask the closer we get to the decision on how many
to produce.

Good day Ken,

How is the field testing going?  I thought it would be over by now.  I
don't mean to be pushy, but I'm really looking forward to it so I can,
ata minimum, resume reviewing papers for the IEEE. Do you know what the
sale price will be?

Regards,

Doug Miron
