[BlindMath] Getting math graphs to college professor?

Hi all!
I downloaded and installed the version of the connect program that came with my TI84 graphing calculator on my computer. I can't get the program to recognize my TI84. Do I have to have a special cable that didn't come with the original TI84 which I got on January 2, 2019? I have the APH version that also came with the part at the top that allows the graphing calculator to be accessible because of its built in screen reader. How do I get the calculator and the program that it came with to recognize each other? If there is a missing part, what is it? Where can I go to get this missing part? Also, I heard of some of the screen reader accessible graphing calculator software programs for the computer that are out there. Does any of them also allow for you to send the graphs that you make on the programs to send to my math professor via Email? If they exist, which ones are the best ones out there? Which ones are also free to low cost to get?

You can send any graph using the ti-connect software. You can not use the new one use the one that comes on the USB stick with the Orion Ti-84. If you don't have it email me and I will try to get you a copy. If you can find the older ti-connect online that will work to. You can not use the TI-connect that is for the TI-84 CE. Once you have the TI-connect software running on your computer you can just graph and send the graph to your computer. Once it is on you r computer you can print it, email the bmp, or even emboss it.-----Original Message-----

Subject: [BlindMath] Getting math graphs to college professor?

Hi all!
I’m taking college algebra and I’m runing into a lot of homework problems that require graphs done either by hand or shown on a graphing calculator. I have a Dell P.C. laptop computer, a Polaris Braille Sense, an iPhone SE and a Orien TI84 graphic calculator. My teacher and I are scratching our heads on today’s query. How do I get graphs that I make on my TI 84 calculator to my teacher? I know that there are also other ways to make the same graphs. Does anyone know of any other alternitive ways to get graphs to my math teacher? I have heard that the Polaris Math app can do this but believe it or not, that feature is so new that I have not been able to find much information on learning how to use the Polaris Math app. Because of this, I’m suposed to get training on this feature. Because I need to be able to do this ability now, what are ways I can do this today, before I can start my Polaris Braille Sense training? Can I get free accessible apps for JAWS or NVDA to cover this big gap in my technical skill set? I have the Orien TI84 which is where I currently make my graphs. But, I dofn’t know how to get them to my computer. I have the link to the correct software which is awesome! However, will I need anything else such as a special cable to go along with this program? I have not had a lot of help in this department lately and I would really appriciate you guys to come through this time. Just to let you all know, the resources out there are not enough for my current technical needs. Because of this, I need feedback on this issue ASAP. Thank you!!!

Thank you for taking the time to read this E Mail!
Blessed be!!!
