Hi Taylor,
That is a good question. I am interested to see what other people say
because I am an engineering major and my professor has not said anything
about a specific calculator that I must have. The TI-84+ is the only talking
graphing calculator that I know of, so I hope your disability office can
make the TI-84 an accommodation for you.
Regards,
Nic

Subject: [BlindMath] ti84 question for higher level math class
Hi list,
I was told by one of my math professors that my talking ti84 calculator
isn't good for higher level math class like calculus. Is this true?
Let me give some background. I am studying computer science and I will need
to complete calculus 1 for my major. My current math level is advanced
algebra.
Please let me know your thoughts on this manner.
Thanks
Taylor
