[BlindMath] How to Study Math Content Independently?

Hi,
I also follow the conversation about reading math carefully. I have been working on statistics for a while. Yet, I haven't figured out the best way to read statistical notation. I tried istemai.com. But, I didn't find it very helpful. I used an inaccessible pdf. And, I am a JAWS user.
I hope not to be repetitive. But, I would like to take any suggestions of reading math on Word by JAWS. For some reason, JAWS doesn't read my math documents in a full manner. For instance, it doesn't read parenthesis or doesn't read square root symbol. It just neglects certain symbols in an equation. What can be the problem? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Thank you all so much for your replies,
Regarding the format I use of the book, I have tried both ePUB and Word. Both have the same notation!
Thank you Jonathon for the suggestion of quarto. It would be very useful to me. And sorry for the wrong statement I mentioned. I was just seeing everyone in the community working with LaTeX and have never seen anyone uses different software for paper writing at least.
For istemai.com <https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fistemai.com%2F&data=05%7C01%7Cagokcek%40unr.edu%7Cd2a6f075a8fd4087327e08daf800bbf7%7C523b4bfc0ebd4c03b2b96f6a17fd31d8%7C0%7C0%7C638094979287819530%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=rJIO6dM7urquTD2coJ04nFRg6kFvvsKG7q3O6Po%2BYi0%3D&reserved=0>, that would be very useful. I gave it a try before, it was not the best for reading math on Mac OS as you mentioned, but it would be very nice if I can use my iPhone for that task. It seams promising.
Thank you all again so much,
Mohamed E. Fayed
