[BlindMath] What are your experiences with Spaced Repetition Systems?

Hi. I'm using Anki for several things, like learn new languages. It's
useful, but the field of creating new labels, can be difficult for blind
people. The destkop anki app is accessible to review cards, but is a little
tedious to create new cards and decks. So, I created some tools for
personal use, and a small NVDA add-on to help me when I'm studying the
cards, because the output is not read automatically or is difficult to
navigate between the texts of the card.

Although I've been good at reading in English, and I would say good at
writing as well (you'll be the judge), my listening had been a complicated
part.
English is a language that is pronounced differently than how it is read.
And that is complicated for a blind person who cannot see subtitles in real
time, nor can have context of images in movies, the best way to learn new
languages in my opinion. Unless you have the budget to travel to a country
where the language you're learnning is natively spoken.

So after several years struggling to improve my listening without success,
I've used Anki.
It hasn't been easy. I've had to take my favorite series in English, look
for the subtitles, correct the timestamps so that they were more accurate,
and finally, generate my anki cards with small fragments of each series or
movie.
Anki showed me a fragment of all cards available. I'd try to understand
what was being said and then I'd see the correct answer.
I marked the difficulty according to the effort.
In less than a month, with approximately half an hour of study a day, the
results were surprising. My listening improved incredibly. And although I
could still improve, I can understand most conversations without effort or
translate mentally into my native language.
Anki helped me a lot. Although it required a lot of initial effort.
The current problem is that the cards I created no longer work because I
can understand all of them, I have to create more with new topics, new
accents, and I haven't found the time to do so.

I will do the same to learn italian and japanese, but those languages are
completely new to me. Although italian shares some things with spanish,
japanese will be an hard challenge.

I don't use anki to learn maths or software things. I think it's better to
learn languages or theoretical things that are not easy to put into
practice.
