Hi,

I had a similar experience with mathkicker. It was rendering math as svg 
images instead of mathml or mathjax. I solved the problem by converting 
the pdf to docx, then to latex or html with pandoc. The Output this way 
is accessible.

Because mathpix is paid, I haven't really used it that much.
