[BlindRUG] Are tables in Shiny apps accessible?

Hi Liz,

Yes, I use a Shiny app that produces tables, and they render as you would expect in a browser such as Chrome. I am not the author of this app, however, I recall the author made a couple of tweaks to their code in order to improve the accessibility of some other controls, in particular some combo boxes if I recall. If you run in to any problems in that regard I can ask him.

All the best,
Robin

Subject: [BlindRUG] Are tables in Shiny apps accessible?

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with text output like tables in Shiny apps? The interactive display would be really good for some of my reports but I don't want to spend time on it if I won't be able to navigate and read the output.
 Liz
