[Blindtlk] The Louis Braille Coin and its Place in the Mint Collectable program

Actually, the mint calls all of the coins, such as the Louis Braille coin,
authorized by Congress (only two a year permitted as I understand it)
collectables. Coin collectors purchase them, and the coins production is
limited to keep the value high. These coins become more valuable as time
goes by. The Louis Braille coin is a part of the Mint collectable program.
You are correct in that these coins are and will remain valuable to NFB and
its members, but not only to us, it will also remain valuable to those who
are coin collectors.

That is what is done, but doesn't explain why? I
believe that it is done this way, each
collectable coin is only made available for a
limited period of time, to increase its value as a collectable.
