I think you need a sighted counselor/friend to help you understand body 
language and how to properly use it.  A good friend can certainly explain a 
great to you about facial expressions and body language.  Shrugging your 
shoulders could mean: "I don't know."  It could mean: "I don't care."  It 
could be also sort of dismissing what you are saying--maybe some frustration 
with something.
