[Blindtlk] soldering electronic parts

hi,

can you explain this more?
Is the part you want soldered inside the guitar?

i recently had to cut/grind/file an old style horizontal computer case so
the board would stick out the back in the right spot and also allow the
mounting holes to line up properly with the stamped threaded risers.
i also had to custom mount a n.o. push button switch and two led lights from
radio shack in the right spot in the front of the frame so the plastic
plunger would trigger the button.

i tell all of this because i had to strip the wires, ask someone to get them
thru the holes of the pegs of the switch then wrap each one around the peg.
i didn't use solder or heat. i slapped a nice amount of shoe goo around the
connections and it hardens with time. It hardens around the whole mess,
provides strength so the wires don't break at the pin, and i don't burn my
fingers.
