Hi Jim,
go to
www.codefactory.es, have a look around.
You will have a pretty good idea of what will work with Verizon and use 
either Talks or Mobile Speak.You can also call Handy Tech, (651)636-5184, 
and talk with them.
I am contemplating switching from Verizon to something else like AT&T, 
because I want to use a specific GPS package.
