Cindy:

The Braille Monitor has interviewed the Matilda Ziegler Magazine
for the Blind editor to ascertain the rationale for this shift in
policy; to discuss the future of the magazine, barring any
further changes recommended by the board; and to invite a
representative from the governing body of the Foundation to
comment on this development. We will also offer some general
information about the magazine's history and tradition that may
be of interest to our readers. As suggested in another message,
readers should submit their expressions of concern to the
magazine's editor, asking him to forward them along to the
appropriate decision makers. Assuming this article can be
finished on time, a report should appear in the December 2009
edition of the Braille Monitor.

With Kind Regards,
