Now, if you haven't booked yet, talk to an agent. You may get the same cruise cheaper. Frequently the only difference between the name performer cruise and a regular cruise is that reception or two I mentioned. You will be on the same ship. If you have booked already, see if you can buy insurance through someone like Travel Guard, or another company. It's a lot of money to put out. The cruise line is thinking that you might not go, and they will get to keep at least a part of your money, if not all, and then sell your space again. Buy the insurance.

I hear you David. I wish the particular cruise I'm going on would allow us to book with a travel agent, for that reason you mentioned, for knowing the little details. But unfortunately, we have to book directly through the cruise line. Oh well. It is a good experence I guess. But I definitely appreciate you guys all telling me the importance of everything, especially the travel insurance. This thread makes me wish it were later in the year too, so I don't have 245 more days to wait. LOL.
