Donna,

You're right -- that's just about the most heartless  thing one could say,
and not least of which because of its shallowness.  Seems to me looking into
one's heart is more important than one's eyes, but perhaps I'm just
sentimental?

Wel I appreciate your sentiment.
It is amazing how it is difficult to find an equal in this world for sure.
I have been once married to a sighted person who honestly ended things with
me as he quoted "I needed to find someone who could look in to my eyes and I
found her"
That to me was the most heartless thing anyone has ever said to me.
