[Blindtlk] Finally got my hands on digital NLS player

Joseph,

The things you described in another note here make me almost certain
that it is your USB drive.  My understanding is that there isn't an
approved list.  For one thing, models change too quickly.  The unit was
not really designed with USB drives in mind so this is an area that is a
little flaky at times.  Others here might be able to give you some exact
versions that will work, but they are probably not going to be much
cheaper than a cartridge although they will hold more.  I gave up on
using them for this reason, and I also didn't like the way they stick
out on the side.  An extension cable helps some, and some USB drives
will fit where the cartridge goes, but I found it not to be worth it. 
Having said that, I know that many others have.
