Marsha is right, I had posted stuff as to why I joined the NFB over ACB many 
times.  I joined as an adult.

If he is curious go ahead we should not be militant about it, just educate, 
we don't want to scare anyone away, we are said that we are that militant 
out there, that many leave the talk lists before ever stepping foot in a 
meeting or anything else.

The older generation of the break up of the NFB/ACB are dying out, and the 
only way to continue with prejudices is to put stuff in people heads without 
them finding out about them first hand, like the sighted community thinks 
about us, without even looking past that we are blind.

My point is, let people ask and post, and then educate them.

knowledge is wealth, read about Dr. tenBroek who started the movement, we 
celebrated his 100th birthday at National Convention this year.

But I was applaud to learn that at the ACB Convention that they didn't 
recognize this great man, who started the movement for all of us.  I mean 
without him there may not have been anything for either organization as we 
know it today.
