[Blindtlk] Treatment for RP?

Several thins occur to me as I read this thread. First, everyone, especially those who are newly blind or visually impaired, wants a magic bullet. I've seen people to into amazing amounts of debt because they knew someone, who knew someone, who read somewhere about someone who said that he had heard of someone, that they thought had a friend that had gone to this guy who made them see again. Testimonials can be written by anyone. That does not make them reliable. Now let me add here that it would be great if what the doctor in Vancouver does works. Right now, I wouldn't waste money. A cure should have long term effects. Even if it worked, we haven't seen enough passage of time to determine if this does.
