Hi Zeeshan,
I would echo Julie's suggestion that you would probably get more
information from our National Association of Blind Students (NABS) listserv
and that, if you do decide to go to grad school you would find this to be a
great resource for you. To subscribe to the NABS list, click on this link:

Good luck,
Chris

Subject: [Blindtlk] Grad School
Hi everyone,
So lately I have been thinking about goign to Grad School, actually I had
applied 3 years ago but was not accepted due to my low gmat scores as I did
not have proper accommodations at the testing site. Anyways, as all of you
are probably aware, going ot school for a blind person is much much
different nad challenging than for a sighted individual. So I have been
giving to school online some thought as well but I am not too sure about it
because there are schools online for a Masters program but I don't know how
well they work out for us blind people as you still have to worry about
being able ot read hte textbooks and all the materials, which can take quiet
some time to read. So my thing is, what would you guys think be a better
option , going to school online or going to a physical location.
Going to a physical location has its own challenges but it brings a social
aspect to it that the online version cannot match. But a physical location
has its own challenges which you all must know of already. So if anyone of
you out there would like to share their experiences about Grad School, I
would love to hear them and any words of advice would be helpful.
Sincerely,
--
