Sarah, it doesn't really matter. I use an iPhone for notes and everything else. I use a braille display. Apps that run on the pad run on the phone. Some may disagree, but unless you need the display screen for something, you can do everything on the phone you can on the pad. The new pads may have a better camera, if that is a concern.

Subject: [Blindtlk] i device questions
good morning. I have an iPhone 4s that I really enjoy. I am considering purchasing an iPad. Is this a device anyone would recommend since I already have the iPhone? are there apps for the iPad that are not available for the iPhone? Would it be better to have an iPad to take notes in a meeting or use in church? If I buy one, should I buy the new iPad mini or the older and larger one? I would like one I can easily take with me when I travel. I currently use a Bluetooth keyboard with my phone but am planning to purchase a Braille display. Thank you.
Sarah
