[Blindtlk] accessible email

I've used Outlook Express for the simplicity of use with email and I am moving to Windows 7.0 from XP and am wondering which email server offers the greatest ease of use.  If I go to Microsoft Outlook from Outlook Express, can I still have access to all of my previous emails?  I understand that Outlook Express will once again be a part of Windows 8.0 and will definitely switch to it when I upgrade my operating system

Any thoughts?
