Aisha,

There are many Internet radio stations where you could start a radio show.
In fact, there are many blind people who own, operate, and broadcast on
Internet radio stations. Try contacting David Dunphy, who is the manager of
Audio Access FM, a growing new Internet radio station that already has some
great programming and is always looking for more. If you want to be a
broadcaster on their station, you can fill out an application by going to
www.audioaccessfm.com and clicking on Staff Application. If you have any
questions, you can email David at daviddunphy at audioaccessfm.com or Jonathan
Matte, assistant station manager, at jmatte28 at comcast.net. Some other
stations I know of which are operated by blind people are ACB Radio
(www.acbradio.org) owned by the American Council of the Blind (ACB,) WICS
Radio America (www.wics.cc,) owned by Sarah Alawami, and The Global Voice
(www.theglobalvoice.net.) These are some popular ones, but there are
literally thousands of Internet radio stations, both small and new (Audio
Access FM) and large and older (like ACB Radio.) Try contacting these
stations to get you started. I hope to hear you on the Internet airwaves
soon!

Hope this helps,

Chris

it, and Marion Gwizdala, President of NAGDU has been on it as well.
