[Blindtlk] getting around a doctors office

Not being a member of the NFB when Dr. Jernigan was alive, there is a recording of him about independent travel on the http://www.nfb.org website.
I listen to it quite often and usually refer to it when people feel bad about asking for assistance, being independent is also asking for help.
This was a banquet speech he had given at a National Convention, when a few people had written to him about why he always goes sighted guide and not use his cane.  He said he does use his cane but in situations he needs assistance.
So I hope this helps, I will find the article link and post it.
