[Blindtlk] [OT]viewing Old TV Shows

Various web sites claim to allow one to view old (and, presumably, no longer
easily available) TV shows like the complete CBS television "You Are There"
series or PBS Nova episodes from seasons before common use of VHS videotape,
etc. Specifically, I'm looking for the December, 1955, "You Are There"
episode "recreating" the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. Problem is that most of
the sites claiming this sort of thing either charge (even when they claim
not to) and/or are out of the U.s. and all require installation of a video
player which is an invitation to malware. In fact, my antivirus program says
some of these sites *do* harbor malware.

 

My question: do any of you know a site free of malware that displays old TV
shows such as old Novas or episodes of such shows as Emergency, firehouse or
Adam Twelve or that particular "You Are There" episode I'm after?

 

It goes without saying that the site should be accessible.

 

I seldom transgress list rules so admit this to be out-of-list-bandwidth.
