[Blindtlk] The Unfriendly Skies -- What happened?

Bonnie:
Another thing that annoys me is when I am walking beside a sighted family
member or friend and they grab the came because there are people coming the
other direction. The whole point of the cane is for it to find things. I
don't swing my cane with such force that I would hurt anyone, but they can't
help but grab my cane.
Sigh.......

Those of us who are cane users feel the same way, Daniel. I won't let
anyone take my cane from me.

Well, I am sure a blind pilot could be instrument verified if the cokpit was
accessible. I am sure there could even be a way to land the thing.
When you say I can have my cane stored in fuselage, does that mean next to
me in my seat? If these people are so concerned about safety, I feel safer
with my cane at all times. My cane is like an American Express Card, I never
leave home without it.
