Good afternoon,

a same has been said about clicking. Once, on a board someone 
expressed apprehension that a passer-by would hear the clicking but, 
like cane tapping, clicking has a definite function, and yes, is for 
personal use only. So, my impulse reaction is to say, Screw 'em! Car
