[Blindtlk] To move or not to move

Hi Everyone:

As a recent LCB graduate, I have a lot to say on this.
I am somewhat ashamed to admit this, but if I had not been pushed to
leave Ruston I am afraid I would have been one of those students
Jessica is talking about.
The center is a very close group who it is easy to make friends with.
The center really supports you while you are in training. I am
actually struggling a little because I got so comfortable with the
center's closeness and constant support and now I am on my own.
It is true if you don't leave the town and move away it is very easy
to hang around the center and not move on. You become very very
comfortable after six-nine months. I honestly did not want to graduate
because I had gotten so used to and comfortable with the center
support, friends I had made, and life.
As hard as it is, I would strongly encourage people to move away after
their graduation from the center. To me, this is the only way to truly
challenge yourself and put the skills you have learned to test.
If you just stay in the same area, what was the point of getting the training?
Thanks,
Kerri
