I walked down the aisle on the atrm of a friend who gave me away with my flowers and cane in my other hand. My cane collapsed and hung from my wrist so I was able to handle my flowers. Of course I used it during pictures and buffet and the reception and everything was fine. I use it everywhere with confidence and if certain people are embarrassed because people stare, I tell them exactly what can kiss. be proud of your independence and I wish you good luck and happiness in your marriage and your future together. e
