[Blindtlk] Use of the Term Visually Impaired

Good afternoon, Desiree,

Exactly my feeling. I know what I am I assume the rest of society 
also knows what I am therefore, I don't need people to retard the 
flow of potential communication by fumbling for simply not being able 
to describe, in pleasantly sanitary terms  a blind girl? Does anyone 
think blindness particularly sanitary, anyway? Desiree,
