[Blindtlk] Getting a new cane?

Just started reading this thread tonight.

A folded cane also works well as a back scratcher.  I've also used the cane as a training tool for my dog to prevent her from walking ahead of me, keeping it across her body in front of her.  and, have recently used it to pull items to the tailgate in the back of a truck.  I, too, love the one for the ceiling fan.  Never thought about that, but will smile evry time I go near a ceiling fan from now on.

So true with everything you've said, am giggling about the ceiling fan,
anyone ever try that?  Hahahaha.

Other uses:
Finding the light fixtures in a new home.

Discovering items under the bed, sofa, entertainment system, etc.
Fishing out documents that fell behind the desk.
Unclogging a vacuum hose.
Allowing little tots to hold onto a folded cane to pull them around in a
swimming pool.

In our house, my husband and I have used our canes at various times for all
of the above.  *smiles*

Judy
