I have had the same experience and politely responded the same way.

I have had people ask me if I wanted to feel their face. I say to them that
feeling someone's face isn't my thing. I don't like pawing someone anyway!

I ain't either. NO way. After all, we've got enough to deal with having
the sdtupid stereotype that a blind person feels people's faces to see what
they look like-I can just imagine it now.

I know for me, I don't care where someone wants to touch me. Also, don't
people look upon things with their ocular organs fairly indiscriminately?
Yet, if you suggest touching the same gnarly bit with their hands, often
sighted folk are reviled. Personally, I see no difference. So, what ol'
