Hi Beverly,
Where did you find this information? It doesn't really say how good it is: 51 out of what? Thanks though. I'll check out Good Housekeeping unless that's where you got it from. Sorry hadn't done it yet. Was away for the weekend. Take care.

I found this little description.
Nobody wants dyes bleeding onto other items of clothing in the laundry.
Shout Color Catcher sheets absorb and trap loose dyes in your wash water,
safeguarding your clothes from color bleeds and helping to preserve original
colors. Use Shout Color Catcher sheets in every load to keep clothes looking
vibrant and bright.Product Features:. Sheets lock up loose dyes found in the
wash water to prevent dyes from running or bleeding onto other clothes.. The
proof is on the sheet-each sheet changes color
Popularity: #51 in Laundry

The Washing Machine
Sorry it took so long to get back with this information. Kept forgetting to
ask about it. The product is called Color Catchers. They're supposed to look
like the dryer sheets, but they go in the wash. They are made by Proctor &
Gamble. I don't know how well they work, never tried them. Good luck.

Well, I've been known especially when it's only me to just put it all
in the wash together. But, generally I put socks, undergarments, and
towels in the wash as usually I bleach those. My mama told me to do it
this way when I was just learning to wash my own clothes and for the
most part nothing has been discolored and mostly those things can't be
seen anyway. My clothes are usually simple and comfotable though, and
don't need much specifics instructions. I don't have a prblem asking
if I suspect something is stained or faded; howver. For delicate
things or unusual fabrics, I wash in cold water and hang to dry. A
good rule of thumb is to check the tags as they will usually indicate
how best to wash some thing.
Generally, I tended to buy white socks for every one so no one would
be caut with mismatched socks; some people do prefer Sock Locks
though or safety pinning them together, though. I chose not to chase
after everyone's socks nightly to ensure they were paired together or
insist my kids pair them before washing....they had plenty enough
other opportunities to learn to be organized. So, I did myself and
them a favor and made it simple and unobtrusive. Hope you find what
works best for you!
HTH,
Danielle
