I to have had these experiences, I've just let them do their thing and moved on with my day. My favorite experience was in New Orleans during marte gra. This guy came up to my blind instructor and I and did that to us and we both sort of just sat there. It was my favorite because not two minutes later this other guy walked past the bench where we were sitting and said: "Damn blind people! Can't tell if their real or fake!" With all the masks and such at Marte Gra I wasn't surprised and as I said, for me personally, it was amusing though others would have viewed it differently.
