No; it's just that some of us consider a lot of what takes place on social
media to be vacuous twaddle and encourages confusion of casual acquaintance
with deep friendships. I never got into blogging, either. I figure if anyone
wants to know what I think on a particular subject, they can ask me or read
these lists. (huge grin)

Actually, I've considered joining LinkedIn but haven't because nowhere on
the sign-up page does it give me options to kill spamming of my contacts on
my behalf inviting them to join LinkedIn. To me, spam is spam is spam. If
you want me on LinkedIn, you have to generate a personal message to me
asking if I'd be interested.

Ah well; no sense in beating dead horses to death!
