Thanks for your recommendations.
I like some of the slot games, but I would also like to play
blackjack if
possible. Any recommendations for this?
Sure we could stay away from it, but we dont get many chances to
go to the
casino. :) Wouldnt want to miss out on it if theres a way we
can do it.

What you can do instead of getting someone to walk you around,
when you
check in is just show you the layout of the hotel, then they can
give you
a
physical layout where things are, that is the best way to get
around any
new
place. Always prepare before you go. If a security guard is
walking
around
with you who is protecting the hotel. Ask someone in the
Concierge
department to help you.
It depends in you are playing the card games or the slots, now I
play
black
jack but my husband is sighted so he helps me with cards, slot
machines
some
of them have an ear piece to put your headphones in so some are
becoming
more and more audible. So you are limited to what you can play
if the
casino doesn't have accessible machines, again call and ask to
speak to
the
casino manager they would know which machines are which.
You never want to play the table games with people you never
played with
before, not safe.
Try using the pool or other areas of the hotel instead.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Going To A Hotel
Hello,
So I have a question that I thought I might be able to find an
answer to
here.
My wife and I are going away for a couple of nights this week
for our
three-year anniversary. We're going to a hotel/casino.
I called them to see how they could help us, since we've never
been there
before. They said they could have someone from security help us
from
place-to-place as we need it, so that is useful.
One thing I'm wondering about though. We'd like to go to the
casino, which
is right inside the hotel. I'm not sure how we can do this
accessibly.
They
said they can't have someone do anything more than just show us
to our
destination. I'm wondering what options we might be able to
pursue so we
can
do this and enjoy our anniversary.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,
Brandon
