[Blindtlk] Going To A Hotel

I've only been to a cassino once, and it was with my daughter. WE had fun
taking 3 hours to blow $20. She basically acted as the screen reader for
me, but found most of the machines had similar button layouts.
This was several years ago, and I don't know if the machines are all touch
screen now or how they work. From my limited exposure, though, I would say
you would need someone to read the displays on the machines. Whenever we
would win money, for example, the machines would produce a slip of thin
paper, like a redemption ticket you turn in for cash.
Whenever at a strange hotel, and I've been to many, I always ask the general
layout when I arrive. Once doing this walk-through, I've had very little
trouble finding where I want to go on my own.
Best.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Going To A Hotel
Hello,
So I have a question that I thought I might be able to find an answer to
here.
My wife and I are going away for a couple of nights this week for our
three-year anniversary. We’re going to a hotel/casino.
I called them to see how they could help us, since we’ve never been there
before. They said they could have someone from security help us from
place-to-place as we need it, so that is useful.
One thing I’m wondering about though. We’d like to go to the casino, which
is right inside the hotel. I’m not sure how we can do this accessibly. They
said they can’t have someone do anything more than just show us to our
destination. I’m wondering what options we might be able to pursue so we can
do this and enjoy our anniversary.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,
Brandon
