[Blindtlk] blazer embosser cable

No problem. I still have my old Blazer and it's still running, though I'll
probably be forced to sell it and switch to a more modern embosser soon.
There are adapters, but parallel ports are undoubtedly a thing of the past.

Hi,
Oh! Okay! I hadn't even thought about there being adapters. Thanks so much!
I've been wanting my old blazer to be working again because it costs a lot
to have things put into braille anymore.
Thanks
Lauren

Lauren,

The Blazer's port is parallel. Unfortunately, there are no longer many
devices which support these kinds of ports, so it would be advisable to buy
a USB-to-parallel adapter. These can be found at most Staples or Radio Shack
locations.

HTH,

Chris

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether the cable for the blazer embosser is a parallel
or a serial cable. Also, where do I get one of those oldie-moldy things?

Thanks

Lauren
