[Blindtlk] Can you please help me with Windows Live Mail?

The autocomplete should work for e-mail addresses, although you may need to
turn this on in the internet options section of Internet Explorer.
Instead of ctrl-M, use the F5 key to cause Live Mail to contact the server
to receive new messages.

Yes, I understand that on Memorial Day in northern Minnesota it was very
warm, but there was still some ice on Superior. That must have seemed
awfully strange. Speaking of Windows Live Mail, which I have, I have two
quick questions, neither of which is urgent, but here goes. When I was
using Outlook Express, I was able to hit Control plus M and messages on my
server would immediately come in, or it would tell me if there were no
messages on the server. Is there a way you can do that with Windows Live
Mail? Also, with Outlook Express, if I was uncertain about an email address
in my address book, I could hit the first letter or two and it would
immediately bring up that address. Is there a way that can work with
Windows Live Mail? Nothing urgent, but if anyone has any ideas, please let
me know. See you all at Convention in a little over 3 weeks.

James,

Windows Live Mail does not come with Windows automatically, although some
computer sellers add it. Windows Live
Mail is part of Windows Live Essentials, and you can read about it and
download it from

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/essentials-other#essentials=overviewother

but watch the download pages carefully. As I recall, when you install it,
you can decide which modules you want
to install. There are other modules besides mail that you may not need.

If you are still in Duluth, is the ice out on Lake Superior yet? I heard
not long ago that there was still ice on
parts of the lake..

Good luck.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

locate it anywhere! Does anyone know how
I can find Windows Live Mail on Windows 7?
