Chris:
Insofar as I am aware, I'm afraid there is no equivalent for the "At Bat"
app for NFL games -- at least unless one shells out both arms, both legs and
one's reproductive anatomy! In this, MLB is far and away ahead of all other
sports except possibly the NHL in using iOS devices to increase the
enjoyment of games.
However, although it's not foolproof, you might search for an app called
"Pro Football Radio" or "Pro Radio" (be careful on this last as there are
several apps whose developers have hung that monicker on their aps. IF I
remember correctly, it shows scores and for each team, it gives you a number
of stations on that team's radio network and you just go down the list,
picking the one that has chosen to carry the game you wish to listen to.
Dunnno about Flipboard.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Two App Questions
Hello All,
It has been some time since I have posted here requesting information on iOS
apps, but I need to dip my head in what Mike Freeman described last week as
"the fount of knowledge" that is this list. (Grin) Firstly, does anyone know
of an accessible app with which to listen to radio streams and get score
updates for NFL football games? I have downloaded At Bat for baseball, but
would love to have a similar app for football. I would appreciate hearing
from any fellow football fans on this. Also, has anyone used the Flipboard
app for reading content from newspapers and magazines? If so, how accessible
is it with VoiceOver? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris Nusbaum
