Brandon,

I have attached the implementing regulations of the ADA concerning such things. It would also be good for you to become involved in the NFB's Human Services Division, as they are advocating for such things in the fields of counseling and related fields. I have copied this message to the president of the Division and provided you her name, email email address, and telephone number. If you will be attending convention, our legal department will address such things during the division meeting on Tuesday, July 7. Check the agenda for more details.

Merry Schoch, President
NFB Human Services Division
(813) 625-1850

Fraternally yours,
Marion Gwizdala

I told them, according to my knowledge, that to deny me the an equal opportunity to this certification just because of my disability would violate the ADA. They seemed to back-pedal a bit, and he said he’d ask his managers and that he understands I want to do this etc.

Brandon, I advise you to fight this. They are in violation of the A D a. I can't tell you what exact part but they are going to be in hot water if they treat you this way.
