[Blindtlk] ADA Question

Thanks so much everyone. Just as an update…

I found another organization that also does the same certification, and it’s all online. They were willing to work with me and make any accommodations that might be necessary. It was an amazing response, especially given the response I got from the first organization. So I am successfully carrying out this training, and trying to get my money back from th first place.

For the principle of it, I should have stuck with the first one and fought it out…but this one is cheaper overall and I just didn’t want to deal with it all.

It would also be good for you to become involved in the NFB's Human Services Division, as they are advocating for such things in the fields of counseling and related fields. I have copied this message to the president of the Division and provided you her name, email email address, and telephone number. If you will be attending convention, our legal department will address such things during the division meeting on Tuesday, July 7. Check the agenda for more details.
