I have seen Grade 3 braille, but it never came into popular use for whatever
reason. Now with UEB having been adopted, probably the better thing is to
understand how that works. Not too many difference from our beloved US
English Braille.
I'm taking the UEB course from Hadley so I will understand what I need to
know in future braille materials, but personally for now am sticking to the
US Grade 2, or EBAE.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Grade 3 Braille????
Hi All,
Is there such a thing as Grade 3 braille? I have never heard of this
before but just came across two manuals on BARD that are for grade 3
braille.
If this is a real thing, I would be really interested to know how it
differs from contracted (grade 2) braille. Like I said, I have never heard
of this but I may just not be familiar with it.
Have a great end of the weekend all!
Chris
