[Blindtlk] Grade 3 Braille

Chris,

I found Grade Three braille to have its greatest advantages when I was writing on the slate and stylus. I think that with Grade Three Braille I was able to take notes as quickly as anyone with a pencil. I did not
find it as advantageous on the Perkins brailler, though, because my writing outpaced my ability to think of all the Grade Three rules. I suspect the same would be true for me on today's notetakers, although I
suppose with enough practice it might have helped me there, too.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

notes, perhaps lectures could go just a little faster:)!
