Take out the battery, wait a few seconds, reinsert it, and see if that
solves your problem. Also remember that part of the price you pay for this
unit is technical support at (800) 722-3393.

Sounds as though there is something wrong with your Braille display. As a
last ditch effort, I would try holding down the reset button for five
seconds. This resets the hardware.
