I'm not going to tell you when you should or shouldn't meet anyone; the
number I saw was between 17 and 23 days is the tipping point.  Don't wait
too long..  Everyone is different.

In my humble opinion a week and a half is to soon to meet each other.  You
still have lots of feeling out about each other and you have to feel as if
he's comfortable meeting a blind woman for the first time.

Yes do exchange pictures with him and wait another couple of weeks before
meeting.  Make sure its in a public place and do let someone know where you
are meeting.  Just a few simple rules of online dating to keep you safe.

Hi all,
     I hope this doesn't sound crazy, but I'm stuck and in need of
suggestions. I am completely blind, and have started online dating. Someone
to whom I have been talking to for a week and a half wants to meet for
coffee. The problem is that he has no pictures on his profile and I don't
know his last name. I am trying to play it safe. A picture says a thousand
words about a person. So, my question, how can I ask him for a picture?
