The question is what works best for you. There is no one way. In my job where I get to do writing, I use a computer, a braille display, a braille writer, and a slate and stylus. I can do voice memos, but I think better if I actually write. If you don't need a note taker, don't buy one.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Technology questions for a new job
Good morning. I work at a community college and will also be working for the local newspaper. Will the voice memos on my iPhone be a good option to record interviews, or is there another product I should buy? I have a laptop running Jaws and a focus 40 blue. Should I use that to write the articles or buy a notetaker? Thank you. Sarah
