[Blindtlk] Tips for clicker-training a cat?

Cats don't like loud sounds or sticky things.

Put diuble-sided tape along something you don't want the cat to climb on, kitchen counter for example. They will catch on fast. Every time i caught myfirst cat on the kitchen table i boxed ears. Took a month but she hated the sound. Hope these ideas help. Spray water in their face might work too if you catch the cat in the moment. If somethings in the way that shouldn't be wet i defer to boxing ears.

Canned food to reward good behavior helps! Extra pats & telling them "smart cat, good listener" really works on cats just like little kids.

Have fun! Consistent is important after they think like a three yr old.

I've seen a couple articles on training guide dogs, and of course Google has plenty on blind pets, but barely anything on blind trainers in general, and nothing at all about them working with cats. I'd appreciate connecting with anyone who has experience with this. I can provide more details about our trials off-list.
