Good morning Julie and everyone,

Have you checked out Square Inc? One of the teams that operates
some of the meetings we attend uses Square Inc. to process credit cards.
I believe their card reader must be connected to a smartphone or a
tablet to connect to the Internet in order to process the transactions.
The neat thing about Square Inc is that if customers have an e-mail
address Square will send them a transaction receipt which can be read by
screen readers. The Square Inc Program also allows one to sign the
customer receipt using their fingers on a tablet. A number of our cab
drivers also use this service and from the customer's viewpoint it's
very accessible. I can't say much concerning accessibility where the
merchant portal is concerned. This is something to investigate.
