[Blindtlk] non 24

I am totally blind and have anophthalmia, and I do think non-24 does exist and am one of the small percentage of blind people who have it. However, melatonin works fine for me, so the Vanda Pharmaseuticals drug is not needed for my personal situation. I agree with the previous posters about the commercial. The product should be marketed toard blind people who have eye conditions in which non-24 is more prevalent. The commercial almost makes it sound like all blind people have it, causing more misconceptions.

> 2. It isn't a matter of a blind person not knowing when to go to bed. That assumption is total crap. You can't make the assumption that everything and everyone out there is against us so we always have to assume the worst.
> 3. The reality is this. Non 24 does exist. There is a drug to combat it: but, I myself will have nothing to do with it. This is largely because most of my life right now has no set skedual. Were this otherwise, I might look in to it.
> 4. In fairness to your point, I do take some issue with the tone of the commercials. I thinkk they could present blind people in a more positive light while pointing out the serousness of the condition. My suspition is that this is where your complain really lies. But Bryan,. always assuming the worst is not an outlook I find very helpful to us either.
